About the Rocky Mountain Futurevisions Project

 ROCKY MOUNTAIN FUTUREVISIONS Is a project that seeks to raise awareness in the general public about futurism and human potential development. The project is geared to improve the human condition one person at a time through inspiring visions, lectures, and many other various resources allowing people to make better personal choices with an eye toward the future.

Rocky Mountain Futurevisions is a website. The Futurevisions website is a small window into the development and work of the project itself. It is an avenue for display of the visual work and the ideas which drive the project forward. This website also functions as a gateway to others work through internet links, video clips, and even interviews with a variety of people interested in making a better tomorrow.

Rocky Mountain Futurevisions is an art project. Here you will see samples of some of the artwork that originally inspired the project as well as the latest visual brainstorming that continues to develop. The visual component of the project is transitional “eye candy” that serves as a creative anchor thrown out to a variety of possible futures. If we can visualize an ideal to reach for, perhaps it may also inspire greater visions along the way. Some of the “retro” influences in the artwork are there as stylistic reminders of past optimism toward the idea of the future. We hope to encourage a positive and fun approach toward future studies in the minds of the young and young at heart.

Rocky Mountain Futurevisions is people. The project is an informal network of individuals with a passion for a better future for mankind. What you see here are the visions and ideas of a small but dedicated group of people that desire to cultivate a sense of hope in tomorrow, and a playfully creative approach toward the gathering of ideas about the future. It is also our effort to share these ideas with people from all walks of life who are interested in a better tomorrow. The members of the Rocky Mountain Futurevisions project regularly give lectures and open discussions about futurism and our work at schools, colleges, churches, businesses, for private groups and more. Rocky Mountain Futurevisions is change. Just as the world around us has continued to change in many ways, so does the Futurevisions project. And just as it is difficult to predict the future of our society and the world around us, it is similarly difficult to tell what the future of this project is. The only thing for certain is that it will grow and develop in different directions as the need arises. As more people become aware and take part in the direction of things, more ideas will be brought into the mix, creating an endless variety of options. We CAN make a better future .... if we choose!
